Ronald Molendijk

Ronald Molendijk is one of the pioneers of the Dutch house scene. He is a music producer and, these days, an entertainment expert as well. His musical journey began in the buzzing Rotterdam nightlife of the eighties, where he quickly became a fixture as resident DJ at the famous club Nighttown. Over the years Ronald has performed at major festivals and events worldwide, among them Dance Valley, Mysteryland and Innercity, building a reputation for dynamic, compelling sets.

Beyond his DJ work Ronald is a prolific producer. He co-founded the influential label Basic Beat Recordings and its sublabel Lovely Sounds, releasing numerous tracks and remixes under aliases including Flat Earth Society and Booming Support. His project Soulvation, a collaboration with Erland Galjaard, found considerable success with hits such as "I Just Can't Stop" and "Reset Your Brain."

Ronald's expertise reaches beyond the decks and the studio. He has served as a jury member on Dutch television programmes such as "Het Beste Orkest van Nederland" and "Idols", and appears regularly as a music and showbiz expert on RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws. Despite an extensive career he remains passionate about music, still pushing boundaries and exploring new creative directions.
