Over the past decades Dennis van der Geest has proven to be not only a top athlete and presenter, but a respected DJ as well. For Dennis it all comes down to passion, and he wins over any crowd with complete commitment.
After ending his judo career in May 2009 — crowned by his 2005 world championship — Dennis devoted himself entirely to presenting and music. He has been active as a DJ for years, in a style best described as a mix of nu-disco, funk and house. He holds a deep love for disco, dance and house classics, and performs regularly at corporate events, nineties events and festivals. Every year he also takes over the Amstelveld in Amsterdam on King's Day, where thousands of visitors go all out to his selection.
You may also know Dennis as the presenter of programmes including 'Bonje met de Buren' and 'Million Dollar Island'. That is part of why he is often booked as a host and moderator at corporate events.
As a DJ and producer Dennis has worked with international DJs such as Roog, Funkerman, Benny Royal, Rene Amesz and Ronald Molendijk, with releases on successful international labels including Flamingo, Hotfingers and Zulu.
