Frequently asked questions about booking artists
Question not answered here? Call or email — we would rather be concrete than non-committal.
What does it cost to book a DJ?
The fee depends on the act, the set length, the date and the venue. With every request we name a concrete amount per act rather than a ballpark, so you can compare without surprises later.
How fast do I get a reply to a request?
We reply within one working day with three fitting acts, including availability and fee. For a date within two weeks you are better off calling +31 6 54647279.
What is included in the fee?
The fee covers the performance itself, including travel within the Netherlands and preparation of the set. Sound, lighting, staging and any accommodation fall outside it, unless the quote states otherwise.
Who arranges sound and lighting?
In most cases the venue or your own technical partner. We supply the act’s technical rider so you know exactly what is needed, and can handle the full production on request.
How far in advance should I book?
For a specific act on a Saturday in high season, three to six months is usual. Midweek and off-season it often works at much shorter notice — just ask, even on a tight deadline.
What happens if the artist drops out?
In case of illness or force majeure we provide a replacement act of comparable standing. Because we represent the artists ourselves, we can switch within our own roster without you having to start searching again.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. Our acts play across the Benelux and beyond, and part of the roster tours internationally. We handle travel, logistics and coordination with the local organisation.
Can I see or hear an act first?
Every artist page carries listening and viewing examples. For larger bookings we can often point you to a public show where you can see the act live before deciding.
Do you also book weddings and private parties?
Yes. Alongside clubs, festivals and corporate events we also cover weddings and private parties. For those we usually advise an all-round act or a live band rather than a club-focused DJ.
What happens after I approve the proposal?
You receive a contract covering set times, technical requirements and payment. After that you keep one point of contact at IAMM for the whole run-up, right through to the day itself.
