B on Drums

Bartjan van den Beukel, better known as B on Drums or Bondrums, is a dynamic percussionist and producer who has been obsessed with rhythm since the day he could hold a pair of sticks. From banging on pots and pans as a toddler to formal drum lessons at the age of 8, it was clear early on that music was in his DNA.

His musical journey led him through the Havo voor Muziek en Dans and the Rotterdam Conservatory, where he refined his drumming craft before diving headfirst into the electronic music scene. Fascinated by the pulse of house and techno, Bartjan began performing live percussion alongside DJs—adding raw, organic energy to club sets and festival stages.

Since 2012, he’s also been producing music, evolving his sound into a hybrid of driving electronic grooves and live percussion under his alias Bondrums. He is the co-producer of BJND, a hip hop project, while continuing to explore deeper sounds through house and techno.

As a key member of collectives like Men&Cherry and Sound of Love Live, B on Drums brings a unique live element to events, blurring the line between DJ set and live concert. His performances have lit up stages at festivals like Boothstock, Zeevonq, and even international gigs in Estonia, earning him a reputation as a versatile, high-energy performer who lives and breathes rhythm.
